The First few days of class:

The first few days of class we were introduced to what we would be learning about and how we would be learning to use different technology throughout the course. We started out with using the smart board for various things.

Our first assignment was to create a T-shirt that explained alittle bit about ourselves through the use of pictures. This was a wonderful way for the class to get to know something about each other and make everyone comfortable in the class. We each presented our own T-shirt to the rest of the class using the smart board in the front of the room. This enabled me to feel more comfortable speaking in front of several people, although our class only has 10 people in it.  I feel that it is a much more comfortable and a more stress-free environment having such a small number of people in the class.

After we presented our T-shirts, the class played a fun and unique game with Dr. Smirnova.  It was played by choosing a color displayed on the smart board and then following the directions that followed the color. It was a good way to learn more about my classmates. It was also a good way to practice using the smart board some more and get more comfortable with it.

The next day of class we read and practiced writing objectives in CBC format. We got together with our partners in the class and compared our objectives and then corrected any mistakes that we made. This allowed us to practice and see the correct way of writing objectives in CBC format for future use. I now understand what the correct way of writing objectives is, and I plan to use CBC format at all times because it is the proper way to write objectives. I think that working together in groups is a great way for us to get to know each other and learn more accurately because we can all help each other. This class is a good way to expand my knowledge of education and what to expect in the future.
